Favicon
The Favicon or favourite icon for this website, Inspiration Peek is the eyes. I have chosen the eyes of my daughter to be shown here. At first I had tried the eyes of my favourite dog, Cebest. But that turns out to be very eerie, and looks so scary. When it looks scary, I think it is hard to inspire visitors, not even myself! My son wears spectacles, just like me. So most of the time, his eyes are behind the pair of glasses. My daughter does not wear any glasses and looking at her photographs, it really brightens my day. My children are really my health motivator. Children have such innocent look on their face, and it is their real expression and real face (without any make-up) — basically a flawless face, with no pimples, acne or freckles!
The eyes are such special organs of the body. It allows us to see the things around us. Without the eyes, I would not be writing these, and without the eyes, I would not be able to learn so many things in this world. The eyes are thus said to be the windows into the soul. What we see and what we hear, can affect our mood and our spiritual well-being. The eyes are not only windows into our souls, our eyes also speak a thousand words — By looking at the colour of the eyes, or the appearance of the eyes, we can tell the health of the person. During communication or conversation, the eyes also play a lot of importance in addition to verbal words spoken. The eyes can tell us whether the person we are talking to is sincere, honest or otherwise.
Of all the body parts, the eyes are the things in this world that is so difficult to make — example, in sculpture, in painting and drawing. To mould a pair of eyes that can look exactly like a real pair of eyes are so impossible. I have still yet to find a sculpture or any other piece of drawing that have eyes that can look so much like that of the real ones. It is just so impossible to make the eyes and I came across a sculptured warrior in Taiwan museum during one of my visit there with my mother many years ago. This sculptured warrior had a pair of real eyes (from dead person) implanted in it.
The eyes are just so special. Using our eyelids, we can choose when to shut our eyes and open our eyes, just like the windows. It is so delicate that we need protect and have proper care for our eyes. When the eyes are tired, it also affects the body. You would have no interest to do anything if that is the case. You have no inspiration at all!
What is Inspiration? I had written about my views on inspiration at PeaceInspiration.com some time back. These are what I had written: Inspiration is Love and Where is my Inspiration.
More to be covered at a later time.
Back to Favicon, the eyes…

This is my daughter with my favourite dog, Cebest.
The eyes allow us to see images, photographs, paintings, all sort of artworks and everything around us. With our eyes, we can appreciate the things that we love. Our body is really such a complicated machine with all impulses running up and down our body. What we see, and what we think and learn are all send to the brain. The brain interpret the information and the heart respond…
Just by looking at this picture above, I have so much feeling and emotions within me. It brings me back so much memories, and it reminds me of good old days. It also tells me how fast time can pass….
Sigh… I was singing inspiration…. and nobody can predict the future…… it is really anything can happen in this world…
Before I end, this is what the dictionary wrote about the meaning of the word ‘Peek’:
peek :
1. To glance quickly.
2. To look or peer furtively, as from a place of concealment.
3. To be only partially visible, as if peering or emerging from hiding: Tiny crocuses peeked through the snow.
Why Inspiration Peek?
It’s better to be late than never. It is better to take a peek than never had seen. I had no opportunity to go overseas, but I am grateful that I have internet access, I have the means to look at photographs on the internet, and I can ‘see’ the world at the convenience of my home. When you have a peaceful heart, you would find inspiration everywhere. Just a peek will do.
