About
Welcome to Inspiration Peek. This is my personal website, with my collection of favourite pictures/images, poems, stories and inspirational/motivational quotes or sayings which I had gathered over the years.
Fill your life with inspiration and motivation by reading a few inspiring quotes every day. Bookmark or subscribe to this site if you love it and even tell your friend about it. As I have just set up this website, it takes time for me to put all my collections here — It is still undergoing construction still. However, you are still welcome to take a peek here!
I hope you enjoy your visit to Inspiration Peek.
White Dove
As you can see, the header for Inspiration Peek is a white dove, with the wings spread opened and the eyes looking forward.
Peace
The white dove is a symbol of peace, and it is often used in as a decoration in wedding as well.
The dove is a bird in the family Columbidae, which also includes pigeons — there are 309 different species. Dove and pigeon, what are the differences between the two? In fact, there are no real biological differences between the doves and the pigeons. The only distinction if any, is in their size. Doves are generally sleeker and smaller with pointed tails, while pigeons are larger and stockier with rounded tails.
Pigeons/Doves
Pigeons or Doves have been used variously as games, pets, and messenger animals. The pigeon has a noble history, is one of the most loyal and devoted of birds, and, when raised with love and attention, can be a faithful and treasured companion. However, several species of pigeon have had a huge impact on human cultures. They have been domesticated, eaten, hunted for sport, used as messengers, immortalized in art and literature, and despised as pests. In the Bible, the dove famously appears in the story of Noah and Ark, bearing an olive branch to tell Noah that the flood was over. Ever since, the dove has symbolised deliverance and God’s forgiveness.
This is me, holding a pigeon which I had caught on 10 April 2009, Good Friday, on the way to my church at St Anthony of Padua.
In Singapore, I have yet the see any white dove or pure white pigeons. If I am ‘lucky’, I would get to see albinos pigeons. Thus in Inspiration Peek header, you see that the white dove is a painted one. The white dove with wings spread opened, that is flying, is to show that the white dove brings you inspiration — the white dove brings you message of love and peace.
I love peace and Peace is my pen name. May Peace Be With You.

Peace Bella
